The Baconing Review [GamingUnion.net]

GamingUnion.net: "Deathspank is a character who is entirely defined by hilarity. In fact, it's fair to look at the entire game like a weapon specifically designed to fire jokes with as much precision as possible. Characters all naturally have weird quirks that are woven into the world, which boasts an art direction that reflects the overall quirkiness of Deathspank's character. Those new to the series may not be prepared for what The Baconing has to offer, but in a way those new to the series may also appreciate The Baconing more than veterans. That's because it's the third installment in the series, and though fans of the character will no doubt appreciate the return of the generally heroic Deathspank, the third time may not be as charming as the last."

I've always wanted to play a DeathSpank game... Perhaps I should start with this one.

Hardedge4606d ago

Never did finish the first one, I should do that sometime.

I loved the first game just couldn't stop till I was 100% done. However the second game I didn't like very much, maybe it was them adding gun and rockets.Or maybe because they used a crapload of the character from the first one.Of course it didn't help that they actually reused conversations from the first in the second. The jokes where just not as creative. But will give this a try.

... cause it's also enjoyable for my crappy playing girlfriend, although we aren't very far yet, and haven't unlucked new characters.

I might pick up Guardian Heroes once that goes down in price and if I like the demo.
