What Makes a Good Anime Game?

"I love anime and I love videogames. So of course I love anime video games. But from what I've seen a lot of people don't. Anime games are a niche market in the US, but lately this market has been getting bigger (or at least more widely known). With the latest high profile anime game, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (which sold EXTREMELY well for a anime game, let alone a Naruto game) I started thinking. What makes a good anime game, and are good anime games also good regular games?"
