Will Ace Combat ever take place in space?

We are currently waiting for Ace Combat Assault Horizon to release in October this year. Therefore we attended a presentation at the Gamescom in Germany last week. We not only talked about Assault Horizon, but also discussed the future of the franchise. A future that may take place in space.
