I must admit that when Sony announced a new PSP at their GamesCom press conference I thought something along the lines of “Really Sony, can we just leave that thing to die?” but after reading a little more about it and re-evaluating my thoughts, I’ve come to thinking that perhaps it isn’t such a bad idea after all. - TheStonedSheep

I’m hoping Xbox Showcase will be where the Remake gets announced… freaking all this stuff with FF9’s anniversary and still nothing on the Remake…
Originally North American exclusives, Twisted Metal III and 4 will soon be playable on PS5 and PS4 via the Classics Catalogue.
Twisted metal 3 and 4 are unrated, not as good as the first two but still good
the 4 player split screen is awesome, used to play it on my PSX all the time
One thing that hasn't been considered is the forthcoming "PSP Remastered" series. For me, that might make buying the system redundant, seeing as I'll be able to get the best games I missed out on on my PS3.
Not sure. On the one hand it's cheap which could mean a lot of people would buy but on the other it may take away from PSV sales due to uninformed buyers or _insert other reason here_. I think it's too hard to call it at this point, we don't even know how the PSV will sell yet though it seems very well received at this point in time.
I wouldn't buy one simply because the PSV is due so soon.
We'll find out soon enough: if it sells well then it was a good idea, if not, it won't get many buyers. I could see it being a good system for kids, although the PSPs choices are limited for that demographic somewhat. The PSP is a really nice media player, too. So it's a nice piece of tech in the 99euro price range.
