The Workshop Column: L.A. Noire – Part Three
The Gamer Studio: "LucasArts was once a proud cornerstone of the industry. They are responsible for the popularization of the adventure game genre, and Star Wars is responsible for the death of LucasArts. I don’t think I even need to talk about their modern games. Honestly, there is no substance or any real thought or trace of good in them. There’s nothing to them, which is such a shame, but the studio does live on.
L.A. Noire is a Frankenstein of Rockstar Games’ open-world tropes and LucasArts’ undead adventure game mentality."
