DHGF:When I heard that there was going to be a D&D Facebook game, my mind went racing. Were we finally going to get a giant, online D&D campaign going? That turned out not to be the case. Instead, we’re getting a social tactical RPG. It’s practically an oxymoron, but it sounded intriguing to me.
Lucky for me then, I just happened to get in on the Beta on day one. They’re offering limited spots, but they are adding new ones every day. I was only one of three staffers here that got in, though there were quite a few more that wanted in.
Cryptic announced last week their roadmap for the next few module releases for their Neverwinter online rpg. What really sparked people's interest was the tidbit that there would be a Underdark module coming later this year, and everybody's favorite drow, Drizzt Do’Urden, will be along for the ride. Even better was that a quest line would be written by R.A. Salvatore, the creator of Drizzt. There are no details as of yet, but that won't stop MMO-Play from speculating on what they want to see. Let's take a closer look at the things we want in the Neverwinter Underdark module.
There is an enormous amount of competition in the Free MMORPG Game space, and it has only been intensifying in the last few years. This is of course good news for all of us gamers, as more and more top notch games are being converted to free to play models and developers rolling the dice with new titles in this genre it can only get better it only seems like the gamer is the one to win in this battle.
