Sorcery Pushed Back to Christmas 2012?

E-mpire writes: Many have wondered when we'd hear more about the PlayStation Move game Sorcery. If the information in this image is true, we may now have a reason why.

I hope not i was looking forward to this, but if they need more development time, so be it. it just looks like a great move only killer app.

fr0sty4489d ago

This does seem to be the one killer app everyone is waiting on. It did look promising, so I hope the date isn't right as well.

Vitalogy4489d ago

Why not? I rather wait a year more and have a decent game with the less flaws/bugs/glitches possible than have it soon with all (or some) of that.

darthv724489d ago

you have to give them time to work their "magic" (i couldnt resist).

Seriously, this is to be a flagship title to demonstrate move. Something i have been wanting since it was revealed. Let them take as much time as they need to get it all right and precise.

fr0sty4489d ago

I definitely agree. Rather than a rushed product, i'd rather a polished masterpiece.

subtenko4489d ago

As long as they make a good game. There's two games like sorcery coming out, I forgot the other ones name. The other one could come out first maybe.

Agree or Disagree if you Agree or Disagree

I hope it come out sooner rather than later! they already have the playable version in 2009 for god sake. why would it take them 3 years to complete it? c'mon!

I love the Move, but Sony seriously needs to put focus into this thing. So do Microsoft with the Kinect. They both need some killer app's. This generation just feels stale to me. I need new IP's. Of course the sequels this year look astounding, but it would be nice to have something refreshing. Journey looks amazing. So does The Last Guardian. Just need something different....thats all. (Notice I got off topic lol)

Machioto4489d ago

Yeah ,they should have more psn games that fully support ps move or at least built from ground up.

sorceror1714489d ago

They should have had some killer Move apps lined up from the start. My boys enjoy Sports Champions sometimes, and the little ones like EyePet, but beyond that...

Chitown712914489d ago

And no I dont want a game with Move support. I want a Move Game. I bought the move and stop using after a week. I played Heavy Rain with it though.....pretty neat

Capt-FuzzyPants4489d ago

So its possible that the projected release date is Christmas. Hmm... Interesting idea.

manman64489d ago

This is the only move game I was interested in. I hope it come out soon.

GoldPS34489d ago

Good idea. Push it back for release with GOW4 and Agent hopefully in 2012.

Air Conflicts: Secret Wars - PlayStation Move's Best Kept Secret

Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.

Why the PlayStation Move Failed

Sony's PlayStation Move may not have been able to contend with Nintendo's Wii, but it paved the way for PlayStation VR's success story.

SullysCigar809d ago

I use them most days and have for years 🤷🏻‍♂️

They're definitely way past a needed update, but I've got a tonne of fun out of them, so they haven't failed me.

bouzebbal809d ago

The best motion control platform it's so intuitive.. Died due to lack of support from Sony.. It had some amazing games

thorstein809d ago

They are used constantly for PSVR games. So, no they haven't failed. Neither has PSVR (or VR in general.)

Bigman4k809d ago (Edited 809d ago )

The article was talking about why it ps move failed before psvr came along

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH810d ago

It failed because it sucked plain and simple.
