I'm really looking forward to Rage.

gamingdroid3937d ago

Rage is growing on me every single time I see it. Might have to add it to the list of games I getting this holiday, which consist of Gears 3 and MW3.

newleaf3937d ago

You are really asking for it by mentioning an x360 exclusive and a game that caters mostly for x360 owners...come on man, this is n4g

gamingdroid3937d ago

I don't really care if people disagree. I say what I want and disagrees can't change facts, but yes you are right.

I have been excited for Rage for months now, and it still continues to grow on me. I normally try to avoid being hyped, but Rage certainly has me pumped. However, I try to avoid military games; unless, they are historical in nature. I enjoyed the first Modern Warfare; it was taut, with action-filled set pieces that made me feel like I was: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Stallone, and all the other action flick stars that dwell fondly in my memories 0f 1978-19991. However, I found shooting virtual humans to be distasteful for me, and after a few chapters of MW2 the dissonance grew between me and the game, so I sent it back to Gamefly. But I am super pumped for Rage and Gears 3. Dang didn't mean for this to be a treatise on When Personal Philosophy and Video Games Collide. Ahem, All I have to say about that is:
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. [laughs] Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you,and you may call me "V"." Hugo Weaving
I always think of this quote when I talk to

Screw you uploader.

Same here. FU uploader.

eddvdm3937d ago

that's just nonsense, why to do this. People have too much power nowadays..

peowpeow3936d ago

What's the point of limiting to certain viewers? :/ I want to watch it.

360 man3937d ago

how is it looking like that at 60fps

i dont understand

meetajhu3937d ago (Edited 3937d ago )

The greatness of John Carmack. He made Quake 1 on 1995 that itself puts the entire film and game graphics industry to shame.

KingDustero3937d ago

At first I didn't really care about Rage at all. It didn't look like anything special to me.

However after watching all the recent videos I'm really looking forward to it now.

However I am already getting too many games for the rest of the year, so I'll just wait until next year whenever there is a drought in games to get it.

It'll probably be the game I pick up next summer to help through the summer drought.

rage, gears 3, uncharted 3, skyrim, bf 3, halo cea...

my social life = gone.

gamingdroid3937d ago

wife = soon to be gone too! :D

aviator1893937d ago

haha, it should be illegal to have such a jam-packed schedule of such great games lined up for launch in just a matter of a few months.

Did you notice closely that when the character gets out of the atv and on foot his gun's textures load up? If you don't install the game in your 360 or ps3, you're going to encounter this ALOT. Take it from carmack because he said the same thing. If you were one of the few that actually watched the whole hour and a half interview, you would know exactly what i'm talking about. If you're lucky and you have over 20 gigs of free space on your 360 or ps3 please do rage a favor and install it. Not only are you then going to get the best experience but you will have almost no problems with the slow loading of textures that can take up to "15 plus SECONDS to load up a large area" Trust me people This is stuff that came directly out of Carmack's mouth. Have a nice day and enjoy Rage when it's released. :)

Edit: When i said enjoy rage i really mean it! Enjoy Rage because it will most likely be an amazing experience :)

Redgehammer3936d ago

I agree completely. Carmack made some very surprising, and informative statements in his unassuming, 1,5 hour brain-melting monologue.
Rage is the FPS I am looking forward to the most this year.

Does anyone know if the black guy is played by John Goodman?

kaveti66163937d ago

That's so odd. I love Goodman. I had no idea he was in to video game voice acting.

REDGUM3936d ago

Thanks for the link mate.

Redgehammer3937d ago (Edited 3937d ago )

AAWELLS093937d ago

mrmikew20183937d ago
