Videogames do cause violence and crime! Sometimes, people get robbed for their videogames and consoles!

Videogames are so awesome, people who can't afford them mug and rob for them

BlindGuardian4639d ago

yes, but nuclear weapons don't kill people, people do and yet not every one should have them

yet you can't deny the fact there are those with weaker constitutions that become influenced by what they see and hear. Personal responsibility has become an urban legend it would seem.

Now....technically, there have been a few games that have killed people but not in a violent way. Some have died from the effects of having a seizure or heart attack from over exertion or exposure. Still, that is personal responsibility as they were the ones to push themselves to play. These cases are much smaller than the "the video game made me do it" ones.

I speak from experience about having a seizure while playing and found myself awakened in a hospital room. Scared the crap out of my wife and son when it happened.

I wouldn't say they kill people but they do have the power to carry the wrong messages especially to kids....I'll say that at times people can get bad ideas from video games just like in any other sort of entertainment like for example movies,tv shows etc.

That genuinely, genuinely sucks. The reboot has clear flaws, but it really felt like a solid first step for this team to receive *greater* investment.

Alone in the dark is a fun game so that's unfortunate

Something about recreating old school graphics in an era of HD high poly photo realism just hits a spot. I'm not nostalgic cause I mostly played GameCube and GB/A, but it's a visual style that gets over looked even by indies.

Definitely a fan project. Terrible hand animations. Some characters have very bad body proportions. Some look like little kids in adult bodies. Some have short arms, small head, big hips and so on.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos2h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
