GP Blogger, Standard Minion writes, "Yeah, you’ve already heard about it by now: the Red Faction series had its plug pulled by THQ about two weeks back now. The move was made in response to 'disappointing' sales of Red Faction: Armageddon, the latest iteration in the franchise.
Having been an enormous fan of Red Faction: Guerrilla, my immediate response was typical: kneejerk embittered nerd rage. As I got to thinking about the move, however, and the fact that I wouldn’t see a Red Faction title for (at the very least) a long, long time, I began to consider what exactly constitutes a Red Faction game."

sad article. not an easy or rewarding lifestyle.
Thank you to those who do what you do.
i loved guerrilla but Armageddon did not fulfill the promise of returning to the origins but didnt and the series really became disappointing at the end im just gonna wait untill a reboot comes on the way from a devoted team.
Geurilla was awesome. I dont understand why they didnt just build on that and made Guerilla 2. That wouldve sold a heck of a lot more than Armageddon
Red Faction 1 and Red faction 2 on the ps2 were amazing, First person shooters, both we great storys, Both with an amazing destruction system for their time.
Red faction guerilla and armageddon were third person shooters with hardly any story and a unrealistic destruction system.
If THQ had continued making Red faction 1st person shooters with good storys it think RF could have been a huge franchise.
Red Faction 2 IMO was the best First person shooter on the PS2
