With dozens upon dozens of silver screen releases, the fictional protagonists have been transformed from the geeky fantasies of yesteryear, into the mainstream icons that they are today. As with most things, the wider reaching knowledge of superheros can be split into three categories; those that everyone has heard of, that only the most hardcore of comic book fans recognise, and then those whose name’s are familiar, but their setting, abilities and back-story are somewhat of a mystery. Captain America certainly falls into the latter category, especially on this side of the Atlantic."
