Scotland Yard is a crime solving strategy game for Nintendo DS. Players must either track down Mr. X or evade the detectives by taxi, bus, underground train or by helicopter. Get your tickets ready and start the chase.

Nineoverten.com writes that Ravensburger has released their 4-million selling hit board game Scotland Yard on to iOS (iPhone and iPad) devices with the debut of the mobile version of the game.
Family used to play this Saturday nights. Great game to play with a group. I got the $4.99 debut cost for it on iOS, but wonder how it will match up with playing with a few people and seeing Mr./Mrs. X's expressions as they make their moves.
Perhaps the most unfortunate thing about Scotland Yard DS is the fact that it is a Europe-only title. This means that, unless you plan on dabbling in importing and shelling out a few more bucks, those of you in North America and other places will not be able to partake in this particular piece of pie.
At its core, Scotland Yard DS is the video game version of the mildly popular board game of the same name (minus the DS part). I am a huge board game fanatic, a fact that should be more apparent before the end of this week, so I jumped at the chance to pick up this title for review.
For the unacquainted, Scotland Yard is a track and chase game. With the original board game, one player assumes the role of Mr. X while 1-5 players play as the detectives.
