I could see Sony buying Quantic Dreams, although it would be a risky buy because their games are far from mainstream, and perhaps more likely to fail.

Novarama is another possibility, Sony will definetly be looking to make smaller more friendly games for Vita.

Housemarque are also a probability, I would be surprised if we don't see them pumping out Vita games in future which will also be on PS3 as downloadable games, similar to Dead Nation.

CCP will never happen, Sony is not willing to spend huge amounts of money on developers, they would have to pay 100 million or there abouts for CCP.

0% chance they could buy Insomniac, unless of course they go broke. Insomniac clearly love there indepence, you don't have a 10 year or more relationship with someone and then go multiplatform if you don't want independence.

Sony should buy:

Mistwalker - Give this guys the power of the cell and good budget and you have Final Fantacy 7 all over again

Level 5 - Professor Layton on the Vita would be amazing

Turtle Rock Studios - The PS3 needs a horror BECAUSE milti-plats like Resident Evil 5 and Fear 4 WERE GARBAGE.

Tachyon, I agree with the exception of Quantic. Ps3 owners have shown their support of Heavy Rain, and unless QD messes up their next title, it's safe to say they will continue to be supported. Sony needs a studio like QD, and so do I. HR was such a breath of fresh air I can't wait for their next project.

Sony should have bought Insomniac years ago. Maybe Insomniac didn't want to be bought.

You are correct. Insomniac did not wish to be bought out and instead chose to remain independant.

I hope Sony didn't make a mistake by not buying Insomniac. I want more Resistance and Ratchet & Clank games...

Sony owns the Resistance IP along with the Ratchet & Clank IP so no need to worry.
