GamingUnion.net: "At the end of the day Call of Juarez: The Cartel is an entirely forgettable experience, made worse by the fact that it's a Western shooter. Not that there's anything wrong with a Westerns per se, Red Dead Redemption was brilliant. Even fans of the series should probably give this one a pass, and go revisit another western game. Sunset Riders would be my personal suggestion, but like most Western fans I'm a sucker for the classics."
Want more Red Dead Redemption 2? There are plenty of other games that are worth checking out if you’re looking to scratch that frontier itch.
Call of Juarez: Gunsinger and The Cartel recently vanished from digital storefronts, but the game's aren't gone for good. The developer Techland is now in charge of publishing.
I wish they'd re-release/remaster Gunslinger as a physical copy on PS4. I'm really not keen on digital only.
It's pretty obvious the studio is focussed on Dead Island. As soon as the hype train began, Call of Juarez became an afterthought.
Sounds like it could be called Call of Failure.
