Shadowlocked – Sony Buys Infamous Developers, Sucker Punch

Shadowlocked – In a move that's sure to solidify their position, Sony have sought to acquire one of the top developers producing content for their PS3 system, Sucker Punch Productions. In recent years, Sucker Punch have become known for their critically acclaimed Infamous series – the original has a score of 85 on Metacritic, whilst the sequel currently stands at 83 – but the company had originally gained repute through their Sly Cooper series, a game that saw the user controlling the appropriately named master thief, Sly Cooper, as he attempted to steal back many of his families heirlooms. Oh, and he was a raccoon…probably worth getting that out there.
