Guitar Hero has always been a franchise with a lot of buzz surrounding it. It was the first rhythm based game series to really draw mainstream attention with its super solid first two entries, though it eventually became a magnet for more negative attention and the prototype for the Activision "milk games dry and toss them" business model. As with many launch title line-ups in the modern era, Windows Phone 7’s Xbox LIVE enabled software portfolio features a number of ports from other formats. While the likes of The Sims 3 and Need for Speed: Undercover provided impressive gameplay experiences despite their “borrowed” nature, Guitar Hero 5 Mobile is an altogether different offering however, simple for even it’s original host format and coming to Windows Phone 7 almost entirely in it’s original form.
