WTG writes: "Magic the Gathering is a thinking person’s game. It’s a combination of luck and skill, kind of like chess and poker fused into one with, well, magic. The sequel to the eighth best selling Xbox Live Arcade game of all time, according to IGN.com, is upon us. Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 made its debut June 15th on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Steam marketplace with outstanding approval. In order to outshine Magic 2010, developer Stainless Games and publisher Wizards of the Coast needed to come through in a big way; and did they ever! Magic 2012 features new decks that cater to your play style, new game types, and a new Magic experience."
Wizards of the Coast has been trying to make digital Magic: The Gathering a thing since 1997 with the Microprose-developed and published computer game, Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers with many other titles published since.
Despite its storied history, it has been hard to make a good Magic: The Gathering video game. Even the best-ranked game isn't very good.
Carlos writes "2017 was a great year for the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program with many of our favourite 360 games made playable on Xbox One. That said, there are still a ton of highly requested games yet to arrive in the program and with 2018 set to see even more added, it makes sense that the first of the years new additions are now being given the treatment. This past week has seen six new games made backwards compatible, but which ones are worth returning to once more?"
"Six new games arrive via Backwards Compatibility"
Does anyone not see the funny side to this statement? I do... lol
I love the Sniper elite series & V2 is a great game & as I still have my 360 copy I'm good to go. Great news & it's free for me too.
must have add ons NOAAAW!!!!
I want them to port the old decks over. Some of them would be really nice if you could skim them down to 60 cards.
