Aside from the sharp IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 don't really boast a long and proud legacy of historical combat flight simulations – and it's been a couple of years since the last notable release. Games like Heroes of Europe and the Blazing Angels entries have surely provided some entertainment to genre fans, plus the Battlestations series includes solid flight segments, but it's otherwise been very slim pickings of late compared to the richer PC flight scene.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars' rising age and repetitive gameplay may mean that it won't be winning a Medal of Honor any time soon, but it still manages to fight its way to the end in more or less one piece.
The outrageous competitive shooter Drawn to Death launches on PS4, and it's free for PS Plus members.
Drawn To Death being free on PS+ is awesome.
Persona 5 legit looks like of of the greatest games and RPGs ever.
Definitely the next on my list after I get round to finishing NieR: Automata.
& the return of PaRapper... glorious week/month/year (so far)!
Might even pick up Bulletstorm if it ends up being a good port.
