Too bad that the video you referred to didn't flaunt any gameplay.

but seeing as you want to make it about the 'stranger,' i don't know why anybody would spend the time and effort to copy something that has already been perfected and done to death... and in such a shabby way. its like copying the mona lisa but doing a really bad job of it... why bother?

I would be more impressed by something original, but yes, that is 'good' for a person to make that by them self, if that is the case.

again, watch the link i provided. if you want to see mario done in first person, you might as well see it being done well.

The video you linked isn't even gameplay, it's by Freddiew, an effects artist.

This was made using the unreal 3 development kit, it's pretty obvious this is a work in progress, don't pass judgement so quickly.

Replace enemies with kids and Mario with Pedobear and this instantly becomes weird. Why would you need 1st person? especially with Mario's hands in that position? Otherwise, it looks great :0
