Video games as art may be a debatable subject, but even game logos themselves can be expressed artistically. GammaLounge highlights ten of the most creative looking video game logos and they're not all about Final Fantasy! Can you think of any better ones?
Cultured Vultures: We’ve rounded up the most well-aged PS2 games out there, just in case you’ve been meaning to revisit some childhood memories, or even if you’re checking out the PlayStation 2 for the very first time.
id throw haunting ground into the mix. it still looks fantastic.
but i still dont quite understand why we never got a dragon quest 8 remaster for ps4. even the damn 3ds got one.
Silent Hill 3 was straight up sorcery. It has better hair animation than most modern games, which is wild to me.
The motion-controlled maverick of a console that had everyone from age 9 to 99 swing a TV remote to bowl and painstakingly recreating themselves as Miis, had its share of hits, but even so, some titles didn’t quite get their due.
Take it down the memory lane with this ultimate list of the best PlayStation 2 games of all time. Just the best of the best right here.
It's so disappointing that to this day, I have not seen a game match what BLACK offers in an FPS.
The greatest console of all time !!!!
The last console from when gaming was pure, games didn't take 5 years to release, no online only, no half finished games, no mtx.
Ps2 was just banger after banger after banger.
It will always be my favourite.
The N from the N64 logo was pretty sweet. In terms of game logos... None spring to mind, other than these.
You have to give it to the FF logo's. I actually look forward to the logo every time they release a new game.
Bully had a crazy one that I didn't quite understand. http://www.8daysageek.com/w...
Tekken logo comes to mind. Classic, and is used in every iteration.
... Most of them are Japanese games :) I was expecting BlazBlue, it really is a complex logo
Actually, any JRPG comes to mind, few examples are Gust, NIS, Banpresto, Monolithsoft, Atlus, Falcom... I can't remember anymore companies lol
Anyways, Japanese developers have a different view of the games they make than other countries. Their view on the art is quite noticeable. They sometimes even have famous or popular mangaka to work on their game or hell they have their own artist JUST for them! It truly is amazing...
... I'm sorry I don't have any fantastic comment about western games, since I mostly play Japanese games. It's not that I hate those kind of games, I just don't know much about them...
