Has Sony Already Lost 2011?

This year, 2011, began with Sony in possession of all of the momentum in the world. The company was riding high on the release and sales success of blockbuster racer Gran Turismo 5, and their software line-up looked set to dominate everything on offer from their competitors. From much anticipated sequels to long awaited returns, new, unique titles and more, it seemed almost certain that the PS3 would continue to improve its figures and finally overtake the Xbox 360 as the dominant core console worldwide. Although there are yet five months left of the year, there seems little chance of this occurring anymore.
