When in Doubt, Buy it Again

SG - So I hear there’s some Comic-Con or whatever going on in San Diego this week, and everyone who’s anyone is there. Everyone except for me of course, because I am stuck at home with dozens of children. Besides that, I can only handle so much nerd flu a year. Anyway, right before the show, a friend of mine (and comic book geek) called me up to tell me about Capcom announcing a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 game … which is apparently a big deal to comic geeks. I thought about it for a second and then asked, “Don’t you already have that game?”

Don't worry, next year there will be a Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom ARCADE EDITION to spend 40 more dollars on! :D

I think this is very likely to be honest. With all those leaked pictures going beyond the 12 characters that will be included in the game, there's a great chance that a "complete" version will be released in 2012.

Edit: I also want to add that "Ultimate" in the title is a bit misleading as it can indicate that this is the final version of Marvel vs Capcom 3. Capcom can get sued for this if it isn't really "Ultimate."

Edit 2: I've also heard that Jill and Shuma are still DLC, so they won't be included in Ultimate. Can someone confirm this?

there can't be an Arcade Edition because there isn't even a MvC3 arcade to begin with...

And I still won't buy it unless it has Megaman and Cyclops, although Cyclops was Marvel's fault since they chose who was included from their side. Thanks a lot for Rocket Raccoon Marvel, I guess Cyclops is their Megaman.

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
