Yep. BioWare has been pumping bad games after bad games. Anthem, Andromeda... Also, the first trailer for Veilguard was abysmal, not only that plus the development cycle was very well known to be extremely troublesome. While the gameplay videos look nice, I think it's fair to say that people are on a "wait and see" approach.
Facts. The art style and companions look AWFUL. I can't believe how terrible the game looks when dragon age 3 was so incredible.
Almost all the original talents who made early Mass Effect and Dragon Age series has left. It’s all just subpar replacements handling IPs they don’t deserve.
You know, you have to wonder if they never shuttered Anthem 2.0.... if they would have been able to have a redemption and not have this cloud of uncertainty looming over them. Not that they've really done anything to warrant anything besides uncertainty and expected disappointment
Make sense something seems off about this title can't point to what however but I hope it works for people that have been hyped for it. At the same time, I can't help but think it's going be a pseudo letdown.

the 360 controller works, but with some serious accuracy issues, duck button is ridiculously placed, i got stuck in a rock after 30 secounds of playing with no way of escaping, no way to respawn, being shot dead every ten secounds with no way of knowing how shot me got old really fast

to be honest, it is a bit, just a bit clunky still, the grenade animation is bunk and the blast underppowered, but the customization is deep and for an open beta, it is in damn fine shape, 100's of servers to pick from and no lag whatsoever
visuals about on par with any console game, maybe a bit better because of the higher resolution, but a AAA modern pc game like metro 2033 or the witcher 2 this is NOT graphics wise!
but for free....
