The top 4 spots are all RPGs, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII isn't one of them. In fact, it's now fallen out of the top 10.

Yeah the lack of news and updates will drag a game's anticipation level down like that. We haven't heard new news or seen new images/video on Versus 13 in a long time. They've really gotta stop announcing these games like 7 years before they're published. If I first began pursuing a medical career on the day FF Versus XIII was announced, I would be on my way to becoming a practicing physician before it hits shelves. Think about that.

They shouldn't have revealed so early is all. But...when the game is gonna come out and is the priority, the hype train will get rolling again, they just have to show something that amazes people, even if it's only another CG vid like the 06 one.

Still, i've been looking forward to this since announcement, S-E really do gotta get their priorities straight, I look forward to the other ones but this could be my favorite of all time...maybe

Also, we know lots about this game....LOTS. Battle system, air ship, chocobo, World map, vehicles, somewhat the story. Setting, tone, some characters(enough) and the graphics are fine the way they are from the last trailer(although they were an old build). I'm beting on summer 2012 Jp release. The Voice recording started ages ago too(longer than FFXIII started and finished them). We get no info because Type-0 and XIII-2 can't get overshadowed by it.

I think the real problem with Versus is not just that it was announced so long ago, but that it was announced so long ago AND Square-Enix has subsequently announced so many more titles that are due to ship much, much earlier.

SE doesn't want people to focus on FFvs13 right now, so this is working out like intended. Some time after 13-2 is released they will most likely start promoting Versus.

Every JRPG-fan know why "Tales of Xillia" is in the 1st place because is going to be the most awesome JRPG of the PS3 era ppl w8 to play a descent JRPG for 5 years now the dissappointment is huge after all those crap games we get (FFXIII gkou-hou gkou-hou...) and many average ones but this game is what every1's w8 for check the last trailer to get an idea of what I am talking about.

Exactly! People keep complaining that it's taking forever, that it will be crap and that they have lost interest. It actually looks more promising than any other FF game this gen.

As soon as a new gameplay video comes out, they will go crazy for it yet again!

Its really a double edged sword. Haters think they look so though for showing reluctance towards certain Final Fantasy titles, but when the game is released they go out and bend over like a schoolgirl.
