"Despite its predecessor's success, Nintendo 3DS is off to a rough start. From a software perspective, there really isn't much going on. And when the platform does get some quality content, it is generally a port of some sort. Like the software, sales are rough as the system continues to float just under all the other platforms on a weekly basis. Ocarina of Time 3D has given the platform a bit of a bump on both fronts, but now we're moving right back into a software drought. Despite this, I've come out quite satisfied with the Nintendo 3DS, which is all thanks to two features."
Akuma isn't one of the original Street Fighters. He made his first debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, the fourth version of Street Fighter II. Though, you might not have seen him unless you were an especially proficient player or had access to cheats. Akuma began as a secret character. Rather than only remaining hidden for one game, he's remained a secret through many installments in the series. If you wanted Akuma, you almost always had to work for him.
Now THIS article right here is a true gaming article granted many old schoolers like myself know this but, its informing the others that didnt live those games or generations.
Really loving him so far in SF5, his new design isn't great but his moves and combos are awesome.
From July – September this year, 3DS owners picked up another 100,000 copies of the game, bringing total sales to 1.2 million. That’s a very impressive figure, considering that this is the first version of Super Street Fighter IV, and hasn’t been updated since its initial release. It has none of the added content from Arcade Edition, 2012 or Ultra Street Fighter IV, but it has seen fairly healthy long-term sales regardless.
I may be a smash fanatic, but there's nothing wrong with a "street fight" every once in a while.
Ryu & Chung Li player for life.XD
"Street Fighter has seen its share of live-action misfires, namely two full-length features that are best forgotten. But this year, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist proved that live-action Street Fighter could be done right. " | Explosion.com
i'm playing in SSFIV almost 3 months on 3ds. Still waiting for my zelda from amazon.
I'm enjoying receiving a new Pokedex page each day on the 3D pokedex. Not enjoying Streetpass so much since I've only encountered 5 other 3DS owners with their wireless connection on since launch. Ocarina of Time 3D is a pure treasure though. I can't wait for Kid Icarus.
sooo... hes saying there arent any games but thats ok because it has street pass.
nice.
For those of you who don't know, you get three Pokemon a day. Get one, close out, then open the dex again and bam - another one.
Just thought that would help.
And I guess I'm lucky with StreetPass. I have 17 people in my plaza and I've gotten a good amount of hits with SSF. Try going through malls, and if they're around, gaming stores. I'm still as excited as all of you to see a little green light on my 3DS, though!
