In defense of EA’s Origin download service
Steam is unquestionably the current leader in the digital game download market. Charging in with FPS megahit Half-Life 2 and absorbing nearly every major developers’ games into its massive library of content, it’s easy to see why over a million people are using the service at any given time. It’s hard to argue the presence of any real competitors on the market that offer a treasure trove of entertainment on par with Steam.
