I've played many, many games over the years, and SOTC is still my favorite.
It just "Feel" different than every other game I've played with the exception of ICO.

I have to admit I wasnt really a fan of ICO but Shadow of the Colossus ws one of my favourite games. I have a few friends who hate it and cant understand why I love it so much, Ah well it's their loss to miss out on a game as great as this one.

team ico gamers is a respected blog that usually gets inside information from team ico. (i think)

but yeah, i loved both ico and shadow of the colossus. both were excellent in their own ways, but sotc was just so much more epic.

why sony is alienating a lot of it's new Ps3 gamers if they decide to purchase the much cheaper 40 gig ps3.

We hail these games as some of the best and I'm down with that but, sadly many won't be able to play it if they get rid of their ps2 or are brand new gamers.

Actually plenty of games on the ps2 that warrants attention then the Ps3. this is one of them.

this game is pretty spectacular, and an excellent example of what games can achieve artistically and theatrically in addition to great gameplay. i think what makes it easier for people to declare it "better than all the rest" is that is is so different from all the rest. other games may be more widely appreciated, but rarely with the devotion that something this innovative inspires.

this game is one of the most artistic video games I've ever played...the environments are beautiful, storyline is great, the controls are tight, the fighting/puzzle combination is just simply awesome, and most importantly the game is fun to play! Everyone should play this game and see creative gameplay at its best!

One of the most haunting games I have ever played. The music, environment, characters and story all combine to create a unique experience. I don't think I've ever felt more conflicted playing a game as I have with Colossus. Destroying the magnificent Colossi for my own selfish ends just felt wrong at times.

This was a seriously monotone game. Hope that Fumito Ueda change that if they are thinking in a sequel. (I don't think so because basically ICO was a flop, and SOTC didn't sell as well too).

Care to elaborate? Each of the Colossi have individual weaknesses and require particular strategies to beat them.

I thought it was a great game, but I can understand how others might not feel the same way if the theme of the game didn't enchant or captivate them as it did me.

I never got to play through Ico (just the demo) but that and SotC express
a tone that few games can achieve. Just watching thos games mesmerize me...

I have practically no complaints about the game except I wish there was more to the world and colossus. What I mean is, the enviroment is too desolate. I wish there was more ruins of the past to explore and a greater challenge to reach each colossus. I also wish the colossus were more interactive. By that I mean, I wish the colossus could do more that just shake to try to throw you off. I want them trying to use their limbs and the enviroment to destroy me. Other than that, I think the game is brilliant and I really can't wait for team Ico's next game(s).
