Wii U To Have Online Multiplayer Chat – Uses Wii U Controller’s Built In Mic

A recent trailer released by Ubisoft concerning Ghost Recon: Online shows the group of players playing online and communicating through the means of voice chat. This already shows how serious Nintendo are taking both third parties and online interaction for their new console, as it took the Wii several years to get online multiplayer voice chat – even then it was through a box that sat on your TV.

Even better news is the fact that the voice chat can be done through the built in microphone that’s within the controller itself, meaning no need to buy additional gear to chat over the internet with your friends.
