I have to say, for a demo of a demo, these screen shots look absolutely rockin'! It'll be a long wait for this game to come out, methinks. I can't wait for this demo to hit the UK -- I may be playing it for a while.
Yeah, I know I could, but I'm one of those freaks that like to stick with my agreement with Sony. I'm not meant to create such an account, so I don't.
So, no American or Japanese accounts for me -- I'll stick with my UK one, no matter how underserved the EU Playstation network sometimes appears to be.
It'll get here in the end, and I'm happy to wait until that point (although, of course, I'd rather not, as the game really does look very good indeed).
I'm not sure if the x360 can do this. It is extremely well polished and god know how they made it work out so well - so far. GT5 will be a wetdream come true as it seems.
On a side note: My earlier post was a sarcastic one.
I think this game right here, maximizes the capabilities the PS3 can really do. I mean, look how freaking realistic it looks. Amazing. Imagine how Forza 3/Project Gotham 5 are going to look, I mean, if Forza 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4 already have stunning graphics almost (notice how I said ALMOST) on par with GT5, imagine how the sequels are going to look on the Xbox 360/new Xbox.
I have been playing this for the past few nights on and off and it plays as good as it looks.
It is a step above Forza 2, although I think it plays a bit easier than Forza in terms of the cars handling, whether thats good or bad depends on your idea of simulation I guess. It weas just right for me.
I have read some criticisms of the track and I guess you could criticse the fact that the various barrels and sand traps don't change from impacts or cars driving over them, but nevertheless, I played Forza 2 on Suzuka and then GT Prologue, and there is a significant increase in general quality on GT Prologue.
SIMPLY THE BEST ALL AROUND DRIVING GAME....A PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have blurred the line between graphics and photographs.
this game is going to sell millions.
@Hapimeses, u don't need to wait, just get a jpn account! :p
didnt they say this is the type of graphics ps3 would be capable of
