Not content with just reaching the six million user benchmark in February, game stat tracker Raptr is continuing their plans for global domination with today's launch of a brand new news service to their website. Raptr is adding a news aggregator, much like a Digg or Reddit service, focused solely on video games to their website.
Raptr have launched their new video site Plays.Tv, which allows users to easily edit and upload in-game footage, following a $14 million investments from backers.
Raptr has emailed its users stating that it intends to phase out console support on its website and has decided to "focus our resources on PC gaming exclusively.".

Raptr, the video game-themed social networking site was hacked, so if you have an account, the company suggests you change any passwords associated with it.
Guess I now have a reason to go back to Raptr
