Lilburn Game Stop Store Robbed
ATLANTA (FOX 5) — Lilburn Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Game Stop Lilburn Tuesday.
Police said a that a black male, 6′ – 6’2", 200 – 220 lbs, wearing a white shirt, light colored pants, black shoes and a black hat, entered the store and demanded an X-Box 360 from an employee of the store.
The man brandished a small handgun at the time of the robbery. After getting the item the suspect fled in what was believed to be a grey Hyundai, so similar car, said police.
Authorities said that a witness who observed the robbery followed the suspect to the 2900 block of Five Forks Trickum Road near between Lilburn and Snellville, where the suspect fired a shot at the witness’ car, then continued fleeing. There may have been a black male passenger in the suspect vehicle also.
The investigation is being conducted jointly between Lilburn Police Department and the Gwinnett County Police Department.
