Recent Microsoft patent hints at feature likely to appear in Forza 4
Why are people bringing up kinect when this article is about the racing line? The line will actually move around the track instead of just shift color based on your position, angle and speed. Is anyone reading?
I don't think this is necessary. The line that Forza currently uses is perfectly fine. At this point, I turn it off for most races and run with only the braking line (which I wish GT5 would allow me to do). OFF-TOPIC It's funny to me how so many of you are talking about Kinect when the article has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. It's also amusing how UnbiasedGamer gets labelled a troll in a MS story for a statement that is 100% correct and factual but just happens to be pro-MS related. Just goes to show that the Sony drones are legion on n4g.
So what you're saying is you work for MS and you know for a fact that this new line system has nothing to do with the Kinect integration?
Do you even KNOW what a racing line is? It is like saying a new crosshair that will spread is being implemented for KZ4 and that it has to do with Move. You still have a crosshair with a contoller. It makes no sense, you make no sense.
actually no.. half his comment is fact, the other half is trolling. Funny how people can't leave out without the other. As far as braking line in GT5, why don't you just learn the course? Use can use the flashing light telling you to downshift to gauge brake timing, but learning the course is the only way to truly get a good lap times. That racing line is not the best line someimes, sometimes you just go too fast for those large sweeping turns it always puts out. Learn the course, the racing line only holds you back.
This thread is a Trollercoaster.... And I like this driving line update.
Trollercoaster... of looooooove!
what is with the hand holding this generation... sheesh.
Thank you! Someone else noticed. Playing GT1 and 2 back in the day I never even considered a racing line or anything close to helping you around the track. I think they should remove all driving assists as well.
Nice lil feature for the new comers.
