You realize that games within a game are called mods right? They've been around since the dawn of pc gaming. Props to the creator because mods, even crappy mods like this take time and patience to make.
We wouldn't have cs or tf2 or just about anything out there without em. So again good job to the creator and hope to see proper mod tools available with console games sometime.
loool why dont you go and watch inception...! i never said anything about PC games :/ LOL in fact i don't care about PC games one bit so i got no reason to mention PC games.
That's because custom users don't know how to optimise, and if MM restricted the number of textures on screen e.t.c. to help the performance, creators would moan that there's too many restrictions.
there is soo much fail in this post i don't even know where to start. How about Brink, no screen tearing looooooooool. Also you clearly don't get lbp, just saying its not a game about graphics it's about creativity and fun.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - No screen tearing on PS3 version Crysis 2 - No screen tearing on PS3 version LA Noire - No screen tearing on PS3 version Socom 4 - No screen tearing Brink - No screen tearing on PS3 version Killzone 3 - No screen tearing
Tell me where I'm wrong. None of these games tear on the PS3.
Look at the Head2Heads of them. I'm not going to find you all the links but trust me, I own all these games (except for brink but I saw the Head2Head on brink and while the 360 tears, the PS3 does not).
LOL! Are you kidding me? You guys are impressed by that? Yeah I guess it's great when you can make a FPS that looks like it was made in the 90's.
EDIT... As good as Doom? LOL!!! Sorry, I guess I missed the variety of monsters Doom has on this custom level. I didn't see it tho. I only saw simple blocks. LMAO!!! I swear you kids impress way to easy.
Exactly. Show us YOUR FPS. Show us how it's done. We will be here waiting to see how much better yours is. It's easy to criticise something when you probably don't even have the slightest clue where to begin making a level like this. BTW is that a train that passed by there? OMG. This guy deserves an award for having the skill to do this
I hate when someone criticizes something and then other people say "let's see you do that" or something idiotic like that. So I guess none of us can have an opinion about anything unless we are an expert in the field then. No more video game reviews except from other video game developers now, huh?
That's the one thing that let's it down. As cool as it is to simulate the stomping, the camera shake makes it look anooying and twitchy and seems like a bug without the audio.
holy shit that has to be one of the amazing levels i have ever seen in lbp 2 my god whoever made this he put hella time in this this is awesome im gona play lbp 2 right now lol.
I'm not denying the difficulty in making a game like this or how talented this guy must be, but can anyone honestly tell me they would be entertained by this for very long? I would get very bored with this. Props to the maker though.
It's like you said, no one would actually play this very long but it's just the thought of how much work he must've put into it to make this. This is the only 3D level i've seen in LBP which is why I was personally amazed.
agreed. Its not practical. Anyone buying the game after watching this video will be disappoint. You wont make a game like this, and if you somehow do.. it will be cool for 5 minutes.
It took about a month to create. Most was made during the first week of starting it, but then I lost motivation due to other things such as work/training taking up a lot of my time. When the psn was down, I only spent a few hours creating on the weekends.
That's crazy xD
*Mind blown*
color me impressed, very impressed!
He's definitely going to get a call from MM.
Anybody have a spare set of pants?
