Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist Robert Bowling has stated that post-launch support will be a "major focus" for Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare 3, following the feedback the team received from Modern Warfare 2.
So high priced DLC more often???? At least they will be patching and stopping the hackers but I have a feeling "exceptional post-launch support" is more to do with DLC
So basically confirming that you buy a half assed game. So all you mw3 guys will end up paying over 100 dollars for an overrated game which will have nothing new...... When will you guys stop being taken for suckers by activision?
Com on... Seriously... You are all that up tight on this site that I had to be marked a troll for that?
Seriously pathetic some times. Get a sense of humor people... It's for the lol's, it's not like COD is such a serious subject or is played by that serious people that my comment gets called trolling.
And I mean IGN has given every COD 9.5+
Learn to laugh people even if it is at your selfs sometimes.
mw2 sucked so i dont know if im even getting this one? Black Ops was really good though. I wonder if there are gonna be any new gameplay elements like full environmental and structural destructibility? If not then i dont see me caring about this till i see it in the bargain bin.
Why is everyone freaking out about DLC? It's totally optional to purchase. Sometimes I will buy one if it looks interesting and sometimes not.
I bought the latest Black Ops DLC because of the Call OF The Dead map and I have not been disappointed.
However I bought no DLC for MW2, while I bought several for World At War.
Stop whining and complaining people, nobody forces you to buy or play COD.
I think it'a amazing series and the only series that offers what I want as far as an FPS is concerned, which is no vehicles, small to medium maps and smaller combat. I know it's not for everybody but clearly COD has found a nice audience.
i actually recently bought mw2 again and it's actually not as bad as i remember. the mp can be ridiculous though- nothing's changed since i got it at launch(in fact, the community seems worse...). it's MADE for camping and the 'nades and killstreaks ALL the time are just ridiculous lol there's always a chopper, or harrier, or predator coming down on you, or some random frag or launcher that gets you. i hope they find a way to fix the 3rd one... and i hope to god they leave out dual-wielding shotguns lol
if Bowling ever leaves infinity ward/activision he would make a great politician i.e he ignores all complaints ,deflects attention from the real issues, only answers the arse lickers and when he says -we are working on a patch - he really means - dlc incoming - the mans a gamers orwellian nightmare with his double speak.
Though saying that- glitches/patches/over priced dlc aside , the main problem with cod is that there are too many dickheads who play it.If the objective based games gave more xp for teamwork and minimal xp for kills ,players might actually play as a team and the corner camping score whores will go back to tdm.

Bags of over priced DLC for an unfinished game. YES!!! DO WANT!!!! /s
Pre-order now and 2 Maps and a haphazard patch EVERY two months can be yours all for the low, low price of $15 per content pack!
Expect at least 6 of these packs so we can milk you for all your worth and make twice the normal RRP for a retail game!
Seriously, whilst MW2 only had 2 overpriced content packs, I'm still not sure I want to enslave myself like I did with Black Ops.
I'll see, it all depends on who brings more to the table, Battlefield 3 on Console or Modern Warfare 3.

gamers are thinking "hell yeah bug fixing FTW!", company is thinking "hell yeah overpriced DLCs FTW!"...
