Microsoft to make big changes after antitrust case loss: EU
US software giant Microsoft has agreed to make "substantial changes" to comply with an EU ruling that it was abusing its dominant market position, the European Commission said.
Among those changes is reducing the royalties payable for interoperability information on its Windows computer program to a "nominal" one-off payment of 10,000 euros ($A15,600) for rival firms.
