Rayman Origins accidentally confirmed for Wii

An Ubisoft representative has confirmed that Rayman: Origins will be arriving on Wii.

In a short statement to Dutch gaming site N1ntendo, Ubisoft revealed that the Wii version of Rayman: Origins was to have been a surprise announcement at E3. Rumor of a Wii version spread recently when a box art mock-up appeared on Amazon.

Rayman: Origins is tentatively slated for a Winter 2011 release.
