Devoted Lady Gaga fans will now be able to hear early releases of her songs streamed through the Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio service. They will also be announcing 148 different codes (and you thought over 150 new Pokémon was a bad thing) that will unlock Lady Gaga themed items, such as sheep riding motorcycles or magical unicorns.

A few years ago you would have been laughed off the stage with nothing but the words “I’m sorry, but I’m out!” ringing in your ears, but the virtual goods market is expected to break $2.1 billion in America alone this year. Between 2007 and 2010, virtual goods revenue increased 245 percent, according to a study released from market-research firm In-Stat and by 2014 the company also reported that providers will generate more than $14 billion.

Lady Gaga teams up with Zynga for new Facebook game – GagaVille

In celebration of famous pop singer Lady Gaga’s new album, Born this Way, social games publisher Zynga will debut a special promotion scheme called GagaVille on May 17, which allows its legions of fans to access plenty of new content from the famous singer.

“I want to celebrate and share ‘Born This Way’ with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before”, said Lady Gaga. “Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album”.

The first offer arrives in FarmVille, Zynga’s hugely popular simulator, which sees a new in-game farm called GagaVille appear, filled with unique themed elements like crystals, unicorns or sheep on motorcycles.
