Brink’s First DLC is Free

Sure, Brink might get a lot of mixed reviews from reviewers but that doesn’t stop Splash Damage in supporting the game. In fact, to show their appreciation, a free DLC is coming.

Cannot complain about DLC that is free!

Emilio_Estevez4731d ago (Edited 4731d ago )

Why would someone disagree with u? Gotta love the phantom disagrees. But I have to agree. All free DLC is good.

jbl3164731d ago

That's what I was thinking lol. Disagree with free stuff?

I am the phantom dis-agreeyer'er...Muahhhaa aahahha! J/K....Yeah... Why Disagree to free dlc comment??

Greywulf4731d ago (Edited 4731d ago )

I Disagreed.

Brink is a terrible broken game. Of course the DLC has to be free, I guarantee if the game was better, it would cost money.

The devs failed so miserably as did most that were hyping this. Sure, you can have fun with it, if you ignore everything and look the other way.

Same can be said about a hoola hoop... Funs one thing. A working polished game, as all other developers manage to do, is another.

Getting kicked in the teeth then someone paying your dental bills is nothing to be grateful for.

Ducky4731d ago (Edited 4731d ago )

... how is it broken? O.o

One of your earlier comments was "Brink its just another title in the long list of multiplatform fodder thats been thrown at the PS3's exclusives in a sad attempt to show that other consoles can cut the HD mustard. They can't."

which leads me to believe that you have a bigger issue with the game being multiplatform than anything else.

Guessing you didn't play New Vegas: http://www.flickr.com/photo...

Thats me playing New Vegas, that game is broken but it doesn't make it unplayable.

Elimin84731d ago

Well at least you're honest but still no need to disagree.

mrmonkeyhumper4731d ago

I disagree with you on that. Brink is a difficult game that requires you to think and play differently. I think Splash Damage has created some of if not the most formidable AI, that I have ever had the pleasure to swear about. Brink may not be TF2, COD, Halo, Battlefield, Section 8 or any other FPS, It is Brink. I would agree the game is not for everyone, but those of that like it will really like it. Much like black liquorice, you either like it or you don't

free stuff for awesome game can't wait

Ducky4731d ago

This kind of implies that future DLC will be paid?

Come on SD. We want SDK and free content on PC. =/

PandaJenkins4731d ago

Dude they need money to support the game somehow. This isn't like Valve who make profit of Steam and selling items in-game.
