Why I Love Rockstar Games
Geoff Calver at The Big Pixels writes about why Rockstar Games is one of the premier developers today.
"News arrived yesterday that Rockstar Games simply couldn't fit L.A. Noire onto two discs for the Xbox 360. No, it just was too epic for two discs, it had to be shipped on three discs. Three discs!
Now, I'm not going to argue that L.A. Noire is going to be a great game before it has even been released, and I certainly won't argue that you can judge the greatness of a game by the number of discs it ships on, but do we really have any reason to doubt Rockstar at this point? After all, their last two games have been GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. These are the folks who innovated gaming with GTA III and made prowling the grounds of a prep school fun in Bully. Obviously, this is my personal opinion, but I just frigging love Rockstar. I really love everything they do."
