Game Interface – Outland (Xbox 360, PS3) Review

Games that encourage repeated exploration of levels as characters gain skills and items hold a special place in the hearts of many gamers. These games encourage the player to take special note of their surroundings and remember inaccessible areas later on once the necessary character improvements have been gained. Such required awareness of a game’s environment draws the player into that world and creates more enjoyment when those challenges are passed and the accessible area is expanded. Ubisoft’s newest game Outland takes its cues from previous such games, but definitely brings its own unique experience to the table.
