One map that's become a second home to an entire generation of online players is Dust, an add-on for Counter Strike that's become an enduring classic. Under these golden arches millions have fragged, died and respawned and gone on to play again and again and again.

Dust's the work of Dave Johnson, and unsurprisingly its legacy stays with him to this day; at Splash Damage, where he's working on forthcoming shooter Brink, he's known simply as 'Dusty' Dave.
