Rappers love and continue to celebrate Pac-Man (Bitmob)

Rappers sure do love rhyming about Pac-Man. Over the past two decades to today, lyricists continue to name-drop Namco's beloved mascot.

Groups like Dual Core have devoted whole songs to gaming icons such as Mega Man. There's only so much you can say that's interesting about Pac-Man though.

Most people don't understand the connection b/w hip hop and gaming. Remember, they became a part of pop culture at the same time - the 80's. Most rappers are regular folk. They laugh, goof around and like acting like big kids -- more than most, actually. These type of rhymes from Rick Ross and Kid Cudi sell (to who is another story), and brothas need capital -- social and monetary. So the question for every rapper is: "how do I talk about video games w/ out looking like a square? Use it as a metaphor for [blank]."
