I'm disapointed with capcom, but i must admite that the coming of Lost Planet for the PS3, it's a very good move for the PS3 owners...there will be a lot of guys that own a PS3, that didn't have the chance of play, and want this game... and Lost Planet is a good game (not excellent), not a trash...

If this was the big new thing that should stop ps3 owner complains, than Capcom failed...

Last Monster Hunter in both, handheld and console, was way better than Lost Planet... Dead Rising is better than Lost Planet... And made such ports was nothing but Capcom's obligations, since they was the ones spreading that multiplat bullsh!t, if they was to shut PS3 owners' mouths, than they need some new exclusive (just like Monster Hunter was meant to be)...

They are not trying to go with their fans nor nothing, this is just a way to sell some Lost Planet in Japan... ¬¬'

I want dead rising instead of this sh*t but anyway if those of you like Lost Planet than it sure look promising for the PS3 owner who willing to buy this game.

for a relatively new game, the game itself just feels rather dated. I know, I know, other exclusives such as Oblivion showed up later on PS3, but in the case of that game, it was and still is in a class of it's own and immeasurably deep. A contemporary classic for sure...Lost Planet is just not that.

I wouldn't see myself picking it up even back in July, up against RB6, Splinter Cell, and Motorstorm, so I agree with the point about next year when many of the heavy hitters will be out. Capcom, good effort, bad initiative on your part. Anyway, congrats to those who do and will enjoy the game. Not my cup of tea.

Well, this game proves more than ever that Capcom really needs more money. They ported the once GameCube exclusive Resident Evil 4 to PS2 and PC.

What I don't get is why didn't they announce Dead Rising for PS3. It's much better than Lost Planet and has a certain Resident Evil feel and got much better scores and reviews. Also, with much less hype and advertising, sold as much as Lost Planet that had a $8 million campaign behind it.

I see a lot of people wanted Dead Rising instead, which i sort of wanted myself, but i think the reason PS3 owners is getting Lost Planet "now", is that Dead Rising 2 is a lot closer to happening than Lost Planet 2 ( which came out almost half a year lather), and Dead Rising 2 is most likely going to be multiplatform anyway (as will Lost Planet 2 also), if Sony or Microsoft dosn`t pay up for a timed exclusive or something.

So, the PS3 could be getting both Dead Rising (2) and Lost Planet, i think. Just hope they tight up the controls for Lost Planet, because a lot of people seemed to complain about that in the 360 version.
