I did it eminently when the PSN went down. All you do it try to log into the PSN twice, it can't twice and your good. Theres really no trick just be persistent.

no i was using mine before fine, after 2 tries it would work but, now it asks me to sign in when it starts to load a movie. When it cant a message says psn connection is required, or some bs, and kicks me back to netfix's homescreen. This happened after i used my netfix on a separate PS3

Its weird I can access netflix on my fat ps3, but every time I try to do it on my slim it won't let me. I get the network error do it two more times then it lets me choose which show I want (but instead on working normally like it does on my fat) I get the same network errors over and over and it won't stop.

Netflix doesnt work for mine..period. Nor does Hulu plus.

I honestly am not stressed about it..I'm still using my PS3 to finish K3 and Mortal Kombat and Blu-rays. But for Netflix andf Hulu I'm using Xbox Live.

It's great to own all 3 systems when networks go down. But I'll definately take the freebies when PSN comes back.

Easy way to use Netflix while PSN is down... go to your computer and sign into Netflix. Simple.

...Some people are profoundly stupid. Especially whoever wrote this "article." (Though I daresay the users who approved this are even denser).

Thing is... Netflix worked fine... until today. Yes, you can still "cheat" your way to the program proper, but when you access movies they will not load, with a (new) message appearing saying that streaming is impossible without an active long-on to the PSN. Yesterday, Netflix did not require a PSN connection to stream video. Today, it does.

What are talking about? Netflix has worked the whole time PSN has been down. Its easy to log in. Just try and log in to PSN and get get error message twice and your in. That is it. Nothing special. I'm honestly on it right now.

That doesnt work for everyone. Trust me. Ive attempted to get netflix on 2 different ps3s. One worked, one didnt NO MATTER WHAT. Im not an idiot. It just plain didnt work.

The ps3 that works is at my parents place. Mine doesnt work.

And even if you can get to the program menu, it errors out once you try to watch a movie. I dont understand why some work and some dont, but i dont appreciate people just thinking others are idiots because theyre having a different experience.

it seems like it only works on one. Mine worked until I used it on my brothers and now it no longer works on mine and asked me to enter my netflix password.

Good news, you can use NetFlix through your PC too... What a crazy thought. I never understood the giddy excitement over being able to do something on a game console I could already do on my PC.

There should be a little plug in the back of your TV where you can connect your PC to it via the computer cable. If not then maybe you purchsed a tv that needs to be upgraded???

Even the TV I have for my daughters room is PC compatible and it is 3 years old.

This worked during the outage until yesterday, ironically after the press conference. Nobody needs to be an asshole. People aren't lying when they say the "trick" stopped working. Why It still works for some people is odd.

some fancy way....or turn the tv setting to your computer and or xbox and or wii and watch that way....all depends what you have.....i like using my xbox over ps3's personally to me the 360 is a lot neater than the ps3....the ps3 has a better search tho which i like a lot
