First ever Bionic Commando trailer

Capcom has just revealed the first ever trailer and one new screenshot from Bionic Commando, the upcoming classic action title rearmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Making an amazing leap and swinging into the next generation of gaming, Bionic Commando combines the genius of the bionic arm mechanic with the power of next generation hardware.

The same one being used for DMC4, and RE5. wow this is just amazing and it seems that the game has been in development since last year since 05 when Xbox 360 came to market. i'm predidcting an early or late 2009 release close to RE5. i cant wait. it looks sick.

HAHAHA! Anyone recognize the music? I used to play the original in the arcades, can't wait for this now. There's still 1 hour and 40 mins on the Capcom timer but Bionic Commando is great news, especially for fans of the original.

The music in the trailer has me psyched! Now what is the bombshell gonna be!

classic from the NES era. They haven't copied Spiderman. The Bionic claw and grappling hook was in the ariginal Arcade version as well as the NES version.

This is not a copycat game by any means. It does contain certain videogame elements already present (Metroid style arm-weapon/grappling hook, Spiderman web-slinging, or whatever) but this in no way is a rip-off copycat, it's a remake of an original. Bionic Commando was a huge success back in the day and it looks like history is about to repeat itself.

my work computer does not have great sound...but it sounded like during the swinging scenes that his arm made the same sounds from the original.

Hard to tell man. The music is much louder then SFX. It sounds from what I could tell similar to the old one but.... Quieter maybe? Its weird I can still recall the sound of the old game from 17 years ago without even thinking about it....

The game has HD issues on some tvs like R&C. Watch the video again and look at the bottom of the screen, its pixelated.

Still, I'm pretty bored with Capcom... I'm a Monter Hunter fan, I don't care if it comes or not specially for PS3 (even if I have a PS3), it could be in 360 or PC, but go for Wii is just make more a PS2-like version, the chance to go a feet further was lost and they even go a feet behind...

So, this Bionic Commando is a good game coming on next-gen consoles, but I still feeling cheated about MH3... And what about that "mutiplatform policy" now, Capcom? It only a excuse that goes for once-PS2 titles, going multiplat between PS3 and 360? Funny...

I loved playing the original back in the day in my local Arcade. One of the few early days arcade games that I absolutely loved. Couldn't walk past the cabinet without sticking some change in. I never actually completed it though.

Got the Capcom collection on PSP last year and beat it, was very nostalgic!

Can't wait for this after seeing the trailer. Capcom has always been one of my favourite games companys. News of this, streetfighter 4 and devil may cry 4 means good times ahead. I admit I am one of those who are disappointed by Monster Hunter making the leap to Wii rather than PS3 but you can't win em all. Thankyou Capcom!
