Kotaku: "It seems an age since the world first saw Halo. It was the 20th century. Back when it was introduced by...Steve Jobs. And was a...third-person shooter.
The series has come a long way since then, but sometimes it's fun to look back. At blocky space marines and a major game being announced in Comic Sans.
While synonymous with the Xbox brand, Halo was originally never meant for Microsoft's console. Instead, it was a game developed for the Mac. And this was before Macs got "cool".
This Halo CE mod allows a new way to play co-op, but probably in the worst possible way.
This looks like cursed halo at its finest, love it. They need to bring mods to consoles.
Halo multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer has never been asked to record audiobooks for the franchise's expanded universe.
Halo multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer reveals he auditioned for the role of Master Chief but lost it to the iconic Steve Downes.
The announcer was canonized as being an AI character in universe. No offence to Jeff Steitzer, but his voice might be a bit too over the top for Master Chief.
The marines were actually useful!
I think, no matter how this game released, it would have been great either way. I wonder if anyone knew at the time of this presentation how big of an impact Halo would have made in the near future.
So, back when Macs wern't crap?
But anyway, how the hell is this news? Everybody knows this already (or should, if they are a Halo fan).
I think it was a good move for Both MS and Bungie to Make Halo on the Original xbx and 360 as this has become the face of the xbox name like GT is for PS and Mario is for Nintendo.
I also think if it had been on the mac it would of just been another FPS game and not a game changer.
I just hope Activision dont Mess them up like they have done with other studios.
