"Kids these days – they don’t know how good they have it. When I was younger, we didn’t have any of these fancy Star Wars or Batman LEGO sets. No, we just had a choice between two types of LEGO: standard and pirate-themed.
Naturally, I picked pirates. Throughout much of my pre-teens, I built blocky schooners, and fed LEGO sailor figures to plastic sharks (they must have been bricking it). So playing LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, the latest title from Traveller’s Tales, was an oddly nostalgic experience – it was like somebody had captured my past, and stuck it into an Xbox 360."

Thanks to their broad audience, Disney games usually show up on every viable platform out there, meaning that despite the brand’s affinity with Nintendo’s younger-skewing audience, both the PSP and Vita received a number of titles throughout their lives. Some of this was through Disney's own developer/publisher (Disney Interactive Studios), but the firm also licensed out its IPs for other companies to try their hand at – with somewhat mixed results."
