Netflix Still Working While PSN is Down

With the recent news of the PSN being down, you do not have access to many things on the network. Well, here is one thing that works on PSN,

Yup, I've been watching netflx while the PSN is down. Eventually it'll quit asking you to sign in, and then you are free to watch

I was watching The Other Guys and some documentaries last night. If you try to log in and it doesn't work the first time, try a few more times and it should allow you in no problem.

yea i was watching that Phoenix lights documentary on netflix on PS3 last night. its crazy how the government covers stuff up, especially when it comes to extraterrestrial craft that's not from this world, LOL

i think this whole thing screw me over... i've only had my month-free trail of netflix for 2 weeks and now every time i try to use it it prompts me to pay the $7.99 monthly fee =/ i hope this corrects itself when psn goes live again...

I've known that for a long time now, Plus the web browser still works too... When I can't sign on to PSN the first thing I check is the web browser to see if my internet is working, That saves me time when trying to figure out what's wrong.

i don't think this is true anymore.

yesterday, when the error code was showing up, it was possible to watch netflix. today, now that the message has changed to say that PSN is undergoing maintenance, cancelling the sign-in attempt just brings up a message that a successful sign-in is required to use netflix.

it just happened to me, so this is what i am relaying.

Its works, just try sign in when it asks and keep going a few times and then the screen with your movies pops up, then it asks, try to sign in again...watching the universe right now.22min through
