So you are bit of a customize freak wasn’t exactly content with the regular out of the box look of the Sharp Shooter, well your in luck...
Playstation has a bad habit of not supporting the peripherals it puts out. Will the Aim Controller suffer the same fate, or will the the strong PSVR support so far keep it from falling to the wayside?
There are already 2 games out now that support it and 3 more are releasing soon or getting patches to support it.
Am not worried. Let's wait it out a bit, ok? It's been only a week since the AIM released!
Farpoint is $50, the bundle with Farpoint + AIM is $80. Theoretically the AIM cost me a whopping $30. There are 5 games confirmed to support the AIM, and if no other game were to be announced to support it (unlikely) i would've already gotten my $30 worth. I'm not worried and i'm in love with my purchase.
Sony Santa Monica is developing a huge unannounced PSVR game that should be shown at e3. I wonder if it has AIM support? Exciting times. ROM, AZ Sunshine, and Brookhaven should be fun.
The PlayStation Move is an excellent video game controller with potential for great games, but sadly many that see the potential haven’t had a lot to choose from since the release of the Move in 2010. While there are some great games that make use of the Move, there are a lot that haven’t made the best use of the technology. The potential with the Move is still just that for many that want more from their PS3 motion controller. The future is bright for those that do have one (or more), though, as Sony has taken this into consideration and has some great titles on the horizon.
Sony UK Vice President and Managing Director Fergal Gara mentioned to Official PlayStation Magazine earlier this year about how the Move could have been better supported since release in 2010. “What I’m thinking is that it’s better suited towards the casual market, certainly, but we also are pretty clear that we could have done a better job on the titles we’ve had and we’ve brought to market for the PlayStat...
My moves been a bit dusty, but they can do much better they just havn't.
I'm actually surpried at this list of move games. Spiderman ? I've got to see how they do that game lol (swinging on webs?), Sorcery I really want to check out. Dust 514 free and on consoles with move thats a must! Bioshock and Ghost recon that will be cool as well, at least Bioshock will be. I hope some games get patches for move, like BF3 and Skyrim. It would be great if Sony annouces some thing really worth while to get on move at E3. It's been really lackluster but I want to se the device at its full potential.
Sony's almost blown it with Move. If they really wanted this peripheral to succeed they would have had tons of patches and made sure most of the big-name games supported it. COD, BF3, and Skyrim all should have been patched for the Move or supported from the start. Every big FPS that comes out should support Move. They could have partnered with Blizzard to bring Diablo 3 to the PS3. The Move would have worked well with that game.
Sony's missed their opportunities. Now everyone pretty much thinks of the Move as a gimmick that is hardly supported so no one's going to buy it. It's sad.
After just finishing infamous 2 with the move I really hate that 3rd party developers haven't been taking advantage of the move, especially fps developers. The move is really accurate and was a blast to use with infamous.
I do think, however, that the move might be taking up resources on the ps3 that makes it hard for devs to implement. If not then I feel that m$ is being strict with their bs parity policy including the controllers.
There are a couple of games that I really like how they use Move. One is Infamous 2. When I play that game with the Move controller, it feels like I'm playing a PC game from my couch, it's really nice for someone like me who is a PC gamer first and a console gamer second.
I also like the way it is used in LBP 2. The Move only levels have some really neat ideas that really take advantage of the controller.
Another game I have been enjoy playing with the move controller is Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny.
However all of these games can be played with the standard controller as well. I have yet to see a Move Only game that I like.
I am looking forward to Epic Mickey 2, as I really enjoyed the first game. If it comes out before the Wii U is out, I'll be grabbing the PS3 version so I can play it in HD.
GamerXChange lists a few great retail deals on Kinect, Move bundles, Xbox Live subscriptions, and more.
I'm loving the scope on that.
I gotta admit.. Those are pretty sick.. and actually make me want to get one..
thats dope! esp the one with the scope on it is pretty slick!
Can anyone that has used this give me some opinions? I've heard its excellent, but I want to know how experienced dualshock players feel about it. I'm sure its fun to use, but can you be really good with? Is your reaction time still fast while using it? Things like that. PM me a detailed messaged, i'm thinking about getting one
Eh i actually prefer it stock, these kinda look crappy.
