Bethesda has posted a message in the Bethblog forums, stating that not only is the "upcoming DLC" (which we know already to be Honest Hearts thanks to a leaked trailer and some screenshots) finished, but a patch is going to be released before the DLC release.
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.
The Fallout Anthology Edition is coming to PC very soon, and is packaged with some very S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bonuses.
It’s an awful downgrade to the last one they did
They included physical disc back then
I would love the classic fallout games on console. Closest I could find was atom rpg, I liked that one a lot
Getting free games is never a bad thing and Amazon Luna has new offerings for Fallout fans looking for free adventures in the Wasteland.
will it fix the ridiculousness of the crashing that happens when i play it through steam?
i just bought this game last week for PC, and i was very disapointed.
everytime i boot up the game on steam (since it bought it on steam) it crashes.
sometimes if i was lucky, i would be able to run the game, but when i load it on ultra settings, it would crash anyway.
I've been waiting for a patch to come out before even playing this game. The last thing I would want is a game ending glitch to erase hours of questing.
i haven't had to many problems on the ps3. i got stuck on a rock once and ghouls knowns as the glowing ones cause my screen to go completely black like my tv is turned off haha. its kind of weird but other than that i haven't had any glitches or problems with my save. the only thing that annoys me is that the game freezes a lot. i dont know if its just me or if its pretty common. during a 3 hour play session its pretty common for it to freeze up about 5 or 6 times. its annoying but manageable. hopefully the patch will help in that aspect.
ive played two 100+ hour campaigns and frozen around 5 times
Perhaps a fix for problems such as the one i encountered earlier. I saw a ghoul standing motionless and walked towards him, and he turned and faced me but still didnt move from the spot. Turns out he was resistant to mini nukes aswell so i punched his face... and the game froze.
